The heat
has returned. As you can see by this photo -- we have a friendly deer that comes to get the water out of the watermelon rind we put outside. This is right outside our back door.
I just read your Chicken Soup for the Soul story and am glad to see you are still here and writing cause I didn't know how long ago it was written down.
I wish you and your family all the best - as a sufferer from another invisible illness (Asperger's) I know well how it feels.

Kris, I just read your story in Chicken Soup--very humbling, honest, and a good sense of humor. Since there is nothing posted since the beautiful deer photos, I'm wondering if you are okay. I look forward to reading more of your writing and learning more about your life!
