On The Road Again

I'm back on the road this weekend -- to watch the UGA Women's basketball team play in the SEC tournament in Little Rock Arkansas. My husband isn't going with me -- I'm going with three other ladies and we are driving out there. I'm a little anxious about it because I don't travel well these days. I feel more comfortable when my husband is with me -- but all of these ladies are my friends and they understand my situation. I'm fortunate to have friends that still want to go places with me!

I hope we are gone for several days because that means we are winning!

I always like reaing your blog and I find it very interesting especially how well you can get around and do all that you are doing. I missed you talk in Augusta, Fort Gordon, and I really hated that. Being my wife's caregiver, my plans doesn't always mature. I hope one day I will be able to hear you speak. My wife beng an Auxiliary with the Gideons spoke many times at functions but after about 4 years into her disease of Alzheimer's she could not speak any more. I have witness how Alzheimer's disease effect's a person and how devastating it really is.
My wife's uncle, father, brother had this Alzheimer's disease prior to her being diagnosed with it.
In closing. I am asking God to put his loving arms around you and your family and may your days ahead be challenging and well preserved as you dwell toward your future.
May God bless!
